Occaisionally if you lose control of your sanitisation, you can "shock" dose a green pool with chlorine shock treatments.  This is called super-chlorination.

This product is reccomended for super-chlorination.  It contains 65% of available chlorine to raise chlorine levels more quickly than ordinary sanitisers.  This product contains no stabiliser so you can restore your pool or spa's chlorine levels back to a satisfactory level for bathing, much quicker.  Add in the same way as Chlorine Granules.
