Pool Chlorine Granules
Chlorine granules dissolve fast and are good for your pool alongside other pool chlorine products. Used in conjunction with chlorine tablets, you can greatly aid the effect of your sanitization.

Pool Chlorine Tablets
Pool chlorine tablets come in two sizes, the smaller of which are recommended for small swimming pools. Dispense these in a floating chemical dispenser, as they will dissolve slowly to provide you with a gradual but contstant protection from bacteria and impurities.

Pool Chlorine Shock
Shock Chlorine is stronger than normal pool chlorine granules, and intended for when you need to "shock" dose your pool. Do this if you lose control and spot some algae growth. It is also a good idea to shock a pool with a large dose prior to shutting it down for winter. This will delay this process of you pool getting seriously mucky, and shock dosing at various points through the winter months will make getting the pool back up to standard much easier come summer!

Pool Liquid Chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite)
Liquid Chlorine (sometimes called Hypo, or Sodium Hypochlorite) is great for larger pools. This form of pool chlorine is very cheap and a good all round sanitizer useful for both you regular dosing and the occaisional shock dose. Can also be used along side other chlorine products, but when combining chlorine products, always take into account how much of each you will need to add to get your total required dose. If in doubt always test the water prior to use after recently dosing liquid pool chlorine.
